This lack of diversity is not only a problem for women but for the industry as a whole.

One of the main reasons for the lack of women in technology is the perception that it is a "male-dominated" field. This can make it difficult for women to envision themselves in technology-related careers and can also lead to a lack of role models for young girls interested in the field. However, there are many successful women in technology who are breaking barriers and serving as inspiration for others.

One example is Reshma Saujani, the founder of Girls Who Code, an organization that aims to close the gender gap in technology by teaching girls to code. IT-Women: Pioneering Gender Diversity in Technology

The "IT-Women" project of ACL is an internal initiative aimed at promoting gender diversity and parity within the company's technology department.
